"In his ultimate guard escape DVD with Joao, [Jen] demonstrates counters to moves on the ultimate guard DVDs. The unique feature about this GREAT DVD is that he demonstrate the counters from the point of view of defense when your opponent is trying a guard submission, defense when your opponent is halfway through the same guard submission and defense when your opponent already has the same guard submission but hasn't effectively cranked it in. ANOTHER great feature about this video is the combinations therein. To fully understand the combinations in this video, you would have to get his 'ultimate guard DVDs' (specifically part 2). However, that is not entirely necessary because each DVD set stands on its own.
